Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My main goal this year was to just go out there and make a name for myself while enjoying my last year with my brothers. Next was leading my defense as a leader and by making plays. I accomplished that by getting some of the young linebackers ready to play during the season and for when I departed, as well as leading my defense in tackles this year.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m a hard worker, someone you’re gonna see putting in overtime to get himself better and someone who doesn’t break when things get tough.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on alignments of players from the OL to running back to determine what kind of plays they’re going to run in certain situations, essentially I study teams tendencies to beat them in an ultimate game of chess.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My play speed, and tenacity to make plays and tackle people separate me from other prospects in my position.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I was up at Velocity sports in charlotte training for my pro day.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
First and foremost will be accountability, you can relay on the fact that I will not have any off the field issues and I will be on time ready to go on the field and in the facility, making sure everyone is held to a standard.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
You don’t have to question that I’m the guy you want in your locker room and on your team. Im quick to learn and can make things happen wherever you place me in the field!
