Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

In my final collegiate season my overall goal was to do whatever I could to help my team repeat as Conference Champions. Although we did not succeed in that, I was proud in the season we had. I also had individual goals set to accomplish for my senior season. My main individual goal was to be voted First Team All-Conference as I was in the 2018 season. Although I came up just short of that goal I was proud to be voted Second Team All-Conference this season. Another Goal I had for myself was to lead my team in tackles, which I accomplished with (72) total tackles.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I am a humble player. Although not very outspoken, I tend to try to lead by example. My coaches would also say I’m coachable. I’m always looking for ways to improve my game. My teammates would say that I’m a hard worker. I attempt to give my best effort at anything I do, on and off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

While I study film I try to focus on the details. Football is a game of inches, so if I can figure out a way to take one less step, or get something done a second faster it could make a huge difference in a game time situation. I also focus on my effort. Safety is a unique position in that at anytime, you could need to make a touchdown saving tackle, so you should treat every play with that effort.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Effort and attention to detail.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am working to continue to improve my footwork and ball skills. Working with my teammates on 1 on 1s and drill work to continue to improve my game. I am also continuing to lift and making gains in the weight room. My goal to get bigger, faster, and stronger everyday.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Leadership. Both on and off the field I try to do what’s right and led by example.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

If I’m fortunate enough to get a chance, just know I’ll give the program my best efforts. Both on and off the field. My love for the game will always allow me to continue to learn and look to improve my game everyday.
