Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals that I set out for this year was to become a better leader on and off the field and push myself and everyone else around me to be better lead by example
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would describe me as a old school player someone that makes the big hits, someone who is relentless that goes 120 percent every play every practice and also a leader that brings positivity to the team that pushes everyone to be better and does whatever it takes to help the team. My coaches always tell me they wish they had more people like me because I’m willing to do the dirty work take on double and even triple teams just for the teams success and unselfish player.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Film is the biggest part to me I take it very seriously I look for schemes, dead giveaways, I look at how certain offensive lineman react to certain moves what kind of sets they show hand placement of the offensive lineman I also look at the quarter back they give away plays sometimes by their stance their eyes I also look at the splits of the offensive lineman they might give away run or pass I just look for anything that will give me the edge on my opponent I even look for other positions
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from the other prospects, I would say is my mentality and work ethic I am willing to go the extra mile like you don’t have to worry about me not giving it my all. I show up to every game and practice like I have something to prove I’m willing to go to whatever depths there is to play this game. I give my heart to the game every single play. When you get me you get a great player, great leader, great teammate. I push everyone else around me just as much as I push myself.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan on training with a trainer in my hometown area to get me prepared and also plan on training in Florida to get me to that level to compete and dominate at the professional level.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I have many strengths I am a relentless, physical, dominate, hard working, leader, great teammate but I pride myself on and off the field more because that is just important if not more important to bond with your team because they are your brothers. Like is said before I always push myself on and off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If you take a chance on me you won’t be disappointed this has been a dream of mine my whole life and I have gone to many heights to reach my goals and I will continue to do so. You are getting a great man, teammate, and hard working player. No one will out work me I will be a positive impact on whatever team that takes a chance on me. I am willing to do whatever it takes to help the team that choses me. I am a very versatile player I can play many positions on the field. If you take a chance or even give me the opportunity I would be more than grateful to show you my talents.
