Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The one goal I set was to be an all American, I feel short. However, I was fortunate enough to receive all conference. For that I am truly humbled and grateful, still more to be done.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m going to give you my all, that’s always been my best characteristic in my opinion.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
As a CB, I love to study QB tendencies. What does he wanna do in certain situations? who’s he trying to get the ball too & how? Knowing what the QB wants to do pre snap in certain situations I feel elevates my game more then any release a WR could give me.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My ability to breakdown football, I played WR most my life, so in return I know how a WR wants to attack a DB, I know receiver timing is everything. God gave me length and with this length, disrupt timing is what I do best.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Build strength, not necessarily bulk. Explosiveness and getting faster has been my main point of inferences this off season. I want to be running good and feeling explosive when the time comes to show I can be the next big time CB.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field I’m bringing in a Lockdown CB, long, physical, explosive, and a studies the game. Being able to strategize a lot more when you can physically eliminate an entire side of the field. Off the field, my strengths is with the kids, K9 love the kids, I love giving back to my community weather is reading books, or collecting trash I’m with it if I can help somebody smile.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
This is what I do. I love the game, I love everything that comes with the game. Football has gotten me through more trails and tribulations then I can count and for that I’m grateful. My story has just begun, and any team willing give me an opportunity will get their money worth!
