Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I set out to achieve a number of goals this season. I wanted to first and foremost be the player my team counted on, I wanted to be a leader that my teammates look up to especially my defensive line brothers. I wanted to share the knowledge and show them the path to success. And I also wanted conference notoriety, which I achieved successfully.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I am a great person to be around. A very humble individual who isn’t phased by any encounters. My coaches would also say I did a good job leading the younger players in my core group and a phenomenal team player who’s always there for my teammates on and off the field. My teammates would say that my dedication, love and passion for the game is unmatched. They have had also said that I am a true warrior, a person who fights through adversity and take on any responsibility thrown my way without hesitation.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I first focus on what my assignment is base on the scouting report for our opponents. Next, I scrutinize my plays so I can work on any blemishes within my game. Then, I study my opponents and their weaknesses so I can exploit them to put me in better position to win. Finally, my knowledge of the game and awareness on the field to find the ball by any means necessary separates me from other prospects.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My willingness to go the extra mile to eliminate my competition, my versatility, strength, physicality and my love and passion for the game. Also, my ability to impose my will on any player lined up in front of me on the opposing team.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am working with my trainer at our local gym to better my foot work and balance, and to improve my strength and condition. I will work on enhancing my ball skills, and work with my teammates in 1 on 1 drills. I will continue to work to stay in shape and tighten any loose screws that may hold me back.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strength and abilities I will bring to any team that gives me the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love is my winning mentality. Being the leader that help my teammates in any way I can. And my relentless pursuit to not only get better every day, but to motivate everyone around me to get better.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

If I’m fortunate enough to get this once in a life time opportunity, I want the NFL or any other pro leagues to know that I will give the program my maximum effort in everything I do whether that is on or off the field. I will attack every moment presented like it is my last. And with my humbleness, eager personality to learn and able to take criticism all will allow to reach my fullest potential as an individual and a player. I look to improve my play each and every day and do whatever it takes to be the best that I can be relentlessly.
