Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal this season was to win the B1G conference and go out as a champion. However this season through much adversity, season ending injuries, we came short of that goal with a 4-8 record.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would describe me as a hard working player, leader, and competitor.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
While watching film I like to study formation of the offense, by doing this I can learn different tendencies and plays that the offense likes to do in certain situation. This allows me to play faster.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from every other prospect in this draft is that I’m willing to do anything it takes to be successful in the NFL. Whether it be film study, taking care of your body, or extra work, I’m willing to do those small minute details to get an advantage over my opponent.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason program consist of rehab, strength/position training, and film study. My first part of my program mainly consisted of rehabbing and getting my body to 100% which I have not been all of my career at Purdue despite starting 22 games during my tenure here.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths that I can bring on the field is my versatility. I can do everything from standing up off the edge, dropping back into coverage, rushing the passer, playing the run, to even playing inside to play 3 tech which I showed this year. What I bring off the field is a blue collar guy that is a leader first. I will not jeopardize the opportunity given to me or the organization that chooses me and I represent.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
Whatever team that decides to draft me is getting a diamond in the rough. I’m not a high ranking guy, never have been. But all I need is an opportunity. I’ve success and failure in my career which has thought me what I need to know to be the best professional. I’m putting my all into this. You give me the opportunity and I’m going to take full advantage of it. Just put me on a roster and I’m going to explode onto the scene!
It’s been a ride #Boilernation Can’t wait to see what’s in store next!????????
