Justin Harris: 2024 Pro Prospect Interview

Name: Justin Harris
School: Kutztown University
Position: CB/Nickel
Height: 5-10
Weight: 175

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Most important goal for me was to be a leader and somebody my teammates can always count on and do whatever it takes to bring this team another championship. With that, I knew the accolades would come and they did. I was first team all conference and we went on to be PSAC East Champions, PSAC Champions, and Super Region 1 Champions.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Not the most vocal guy at times but a hardworker and leader by example. Very levelheaded, doesn’t let the moment get too big. Definitely a guy you can count on come game time.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

At the corner position, attention to detail is vital when watching film. I like to pay attention to receivers’ alignment, it can indicate possible routes and combinations. Also I pay attention to down and distance, teams have tendencies to run certain plays on certain downs and scenarios.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I am comfortable playing both sides of the field (left or right). I am versatile and can be used as a nickel corner or even at the safety position in different situations. I am also a guy that can be used in the special teams game and make an impact.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to focus on speed specific training while also building muscle. It is also important for me to develop better eating habits, consume the right nutrients, and take care of my body in order for me to take my game to the next level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I think my ability to be coached will stand out because I’m always looking to get better or learn something new every day that can elevate me as a player and as a person in general. So I would say that ability translates on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

If you are looking for a competitor and someone who knows what it takes to win, someone to buy into an organization and positively impact the team, Im that guy.
