What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted to be the best leader possible for my coaches and teammates along with being an All-conference player for a second straight year.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I used the extra year to my advantage by increasing my knowledge about the game and by focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of my abilities.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I believe my coaches and teammates would all say that I am very passionate about football. Whether this is practice, games, or studying film, I always strive to be the best player possible.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I study film, I try to focus on the basics of my assignment. I am critical of myself and my teammates are counting on me to do MY job. I also try to look for tendencies and mismatches the defense gives me.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
One thing that separates me is that I am very coachable. It took me awhile to understand this, but I am always willing to hear feedback and criticism from my coaches for the better of the team. I also am versatile and I can be used in many different situations.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan consists of making sure my priorities are in order, and training for an opportunity at a combine or a pro day by improving my strength, speed, and quickness.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field, I will always bring a high level of passion, competition, and communication to any opportunity I am given. I will always bring a positive attitude and be a leader on and off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
All I need is once chance, and I will make an impact in any opportunity. I will always put in the work to be successful.
