Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
My goals heading into the season were to win our conference and make the playoffs, as well as being an All-American and winning the D3 Heisman.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Downhill, Aggressive, and Playmaker.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will be training twice a day over break at Saratoga Peak Performance. Currently working out an opportunity to train next semester while in Springfield.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I look for Linebacker tendencies and alignments with certain formations and motions. Along with that, I look at how the Defensive Lineman align and react to certain formations as well.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I’m big, I’m fast, I’m strong, I’m hard to take down, and my motor never stops. I’m coachable and pick up coaching points fast.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’m a natural born leader, coachable, and a good teammate. My actions and abilities influence those around me in a positive way.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I’ve been doubted my entire life, and I’ve overcome and turned doubters into believers. I’m a diamond in the rough. Coming from a D3 school, I have earned everything I have received. Nothing was given to me, I had to go out there and take it because it was the only way. Any team willing to give me an opportunity will not regret it.
