Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I focus on three things. My first step, my hand placement, and my hip extension. Making sure that I do all of these things every rep is what makes me a consistent football player.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I am a smart football player. I understand the game, not just play it. This allows me to play faster and more confident.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I stayed at Louisiana Tech and trained with our strength coach, Kurt Hester.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My attention to the details and being able to take coaching/advice and learn from it.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Even though my numbers might not jump out at you on paper, I will outwork the person whose numbers do jump out at you on paper. I’m a football player who is consistent, smart, tough, and hardworking. This is why I was able to start 40 consecutive football games for Louisiana Tech University.
