Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals that I set for my final collegiate season was most importantly getting our first ever win in program history, which we did accomplish. Another goal I set was giving my absolute best to my teammates and doing my best to show them how a leader should represent the team. I personally believe that I accomplished that as well. Personally, I wanted to be an Academic All-American but, I was not selected. I also wanted to be selected as Offensive Lineman of the Year in the ECFC but, I was not selected.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am hard worker, intense, very aggressive, and just a hard nose football player who always works to prefect my craft.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I study film, I break down film by focusing on things I’m doing wrong repetitively throughout a game of practice. I then consult with my coach on how I can break these habits I’ve formed.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from everyone else is that I have always been under sized but I will always out work everyone in the room. I make up for my size with pure brute force and aggression while maintaining my techniques at the same time.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off-season plan has not changed. I’m still training like an athlete and getting as strong as possible while taking care of my physical and mental well being. Professionally, I am trying to create a network to try to get my name out there to see if a team has a place for me.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths and abilities that I bring to a team on the field is a hard nose football player that just wants to have fun and win games. I bring the ability to be a great leader and I have a very likable and social person. I believe off the field I set a great example of very humble and accepting person that gets along with everyone.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Although I’m under sized in the height aspect, my burning passion for this game, my effort, and the heart that I put into this game makes up for it.
