Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some of the goals I set for this season was to be more vocal as a leader, making sure I focus more on school and football so I could set a good example for the young guys, lead my conference in tackles and be an All-American.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches and teammates would say I’m a calm football player. I don’t panic when something we haven’t seen comes our way and when everyone seems to get frustrated I tend get everybody to relax.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch film I look for everything such as tendencies from the OL, QB, or RB. How the OL blocks so I can figure out the best way to attack it. I look at the WRs routes and what works for them the most. I look at the formations and what their favorite plays are, who gets the ball the most. I look at where the run plays always hit.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I would have to say my drive/grind. I started out as a walk-on, I was only recruited by one team out of high school and I ended up transferring and going to Morehouse. I had to walk on having to earn my way up the depth chart, no one knew who I was, so I made it a goal to earn a scholarship and one day a starting spot.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to mainly get bigger and faster, workout with my trainer to get ready for bowl games and tryouts coming up.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My greatest strength I would have to say is my knowledge of the game or my football IQ. I will try and always be the smartest on the field and know what play is coming. And I always lead by example because people are always watching and I like to help people better themselves so I give a lot people advice when they ask me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I am more than confident that I can play at the next level, I will not give up on you and if I get an opportunity I will not take it for granted!
