Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals that I set was to get better every day, play for Christ and be consistent. The rest of the accomplishments will play out if I can focus on those three things and show up to get better and push my teammates everyday.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am inspirational, hard working and an even better human.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on the small details, my get off of the ball and watching how the DB lines up and the tendencies of the defense. This will allow me to play faster and more confident.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other prospects, is that I am Jojo Gause and the energy that I bring to the field is very contagious and the people around me want to get better because they see how hard I work on and off the field.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Off-season training that I will do is to train everyday and find ways to get better mentally and physically to become the best player I can be for when my opportunity comes about.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I have leadership and love for my teammates which is contagious for the people around me to get better day by day. I also love to impact the game in any way that I can, especially making that block that can spring a run for a touchdown is the best feeling ever.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
All I need is a legit opportunity and a chance to showcase my talent. I don’t talk much about what I do, but I surely can show you and bring impact to any team that I am on.
