Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Before my Sr Season I trained all offseason to prepare/transform my body so I can play linebacker. Beginning of the season we didn’t have all the players we expected so I had to be a team player and stay on the D-line. Homecoming week came and I had the opportunity to play mike backer for the week due to injuries. I ended the Game with 9 tackles and 2 Qb hits, after not playing that position since high school.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
That I bring great energy to the team, work extremely hard, competes against anyone, and can be very versatile when you need him to be.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
Depending on our game plane for the week, I study different formations and what plays they like to run on what downs. I also study the players I’m most likely to play up against.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’m very coachable and plays extremely hard and fast.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My plan this off season is to work on my speed, explosion, hips, and getting better in coverage. Also prepare my body to stay in the best shape for the job.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The abilities I will bring is playing fast/hard and doing whatever my coach needs me to so I can stay in positions to make BIG plays. Also doing what I already know as well so I can play even faster.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
This is more than a game to me, it’s a way of life. Its also a away of keeping me sane at times. CFL, XFL, Overseas etc! I see to it that you will not regret giving me this OPPORTUNITY.
