Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Our team goals were to go undefeated, win conference and win the NAIA national championship. We fell short of the national championship, but we accomplished the other two goals. My personal goals were to break all of my previous stats from my junior season. I did that.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My teammates and coaches would say that I’m a team guy. I put the team before myself always. They would also say I am a tough QB who doesn’t take any plays off.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

The main thing I focus on during film is weakness in the defense. I also focus on what type of coverages the defense gets in based on offense alignment. I try to focus on anything the defense does that will give our offense the best opportunity to succeed.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I will do whatever it takes to win. Throughout my career I have played through injuries, and I am not afraid to give my body up for the good of the team. I have never been the biggest guy, but I always play like I am. You can’t teach heart and I have a lot of that.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to get a trainer and QB coach and workout as much as I can. I am playing in a bowl game on December 21st where there will be pro scouts. That is the first chance I will have to prove myself to scouts.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will do whatever it takes to help the team be better. Weather that’s as a role as a back up or a starter. Being a great teammate goes a long way and that is what I plan to do no matter what.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

All I’ve ever wanted is for somebody to give me a shot. When I have been given a chance to compete I have not let down my coaches or teammates. I will do whatever it takes to be successful and for that to happen somebody needs to pull the trigger and see what I can do. If I am given a shot to play pro ball at any level, I will not disappoint.
