Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The main goal was to just give value to my team. To show them that they could rely on me as a running back and wherever else on the field that they needed me.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I think they would say I’m a player that gives it my all every step of the way. When they see me, they know that I am going to give 100% effort no matter if its at running back or on special teams.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
My coach always spoke on making the first defender miss. So when I watch film I’m always looking for avenues to make that happen and then I visualize myself doing that. So whether it be looking at how defenders play, or if its watching me and seeing a cut or move I should of made, I’m always trying to see how I can make a defender miss a tackle, and sometimes that can be outrunning them.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Definitely my speed and acceleration. Many running backs can say they are fast, but my film proves I have a gear that other backs don’t have. All I need is one step to get to full speed and I believe thats an attribute that can cause a lot of trouble for a defense.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I recently played in the Dream Bowl and now I have a trainer I am working with to better my football skills and also help with my speed, agility, and strength.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
If you’re looking for a hardworking, dedicated player who loves the game I’m your guy and I promise you I’ll come everyday to work with 110% effort no matter what.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Any team can watch my film and see that not only do I give it my all every single play, but that I will do whatever is necessary to help my team win games. I want to add value to an organization and I am willing to do that whether it be playing running back, every special teams, or whatever position I’m needed in.
