Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I did not set many personal goals for myself this season, I was focused more on the team goals of winning championships. We unfortunately didn’t met these goals this year but I probably had the most fun playing the game this season then I ever had and I played well and was awarded another first team All- Southland conference selection.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think they would say I’m a great teammate who is a smart and physical player that never cheats the team and and comes ready to work everyday.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch myself I’m constantly looking at my technique. As an offensive lineman technique is the most important part of your game, so I was always looking at how I could improve my feet, pad level and hand placement. When I watch film on opponents I look for couple of things, first is my matchups. I try to identify all the guys that I going to lineup against and identify how they play in the run game and identify their top 2-3 pass rush moves. Then I will look at the defensive scheme, and what they are trying to do. Are they a big pressure team, do they move the dline a lot, or do they play more gap sound scheme. Things like that help me get prepared for the week.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

To me I don’t think nobody has as much passion and love for the game than I do . I’m a smart player and have great natural instincts I have good feet and can move well and can play multiple positions.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to work everyday to improve on all aspects of my game and train not only my body but my mind in preparation for what to come on the next level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths I would bring to a team is pure mentality. I bring a different type of competitiveness and pride to the game that can be contagious throughout a team.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m willing to do any and everything that is asked of me for the betterment of the team. Along with that I bring extreme level of toughness and competitiveness that any team would love to have. I’m a great player and teammate that brings an winning mentality.
