Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I was named preseason All-SWAC first team so one of my goals was being on the final end of season all-conference team, which I was able to achieve.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I definitely think they would say that I am more of a quiet type of player, one that gets in and does what they need to do without any unnecessary theatrics.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When being a punter there’s always little things you can breakdown in your kicking game whether it’s a drop point or contact point, get off speed etc. I find it best to take a wholistic approach and look at everything that goes on from catch to kick.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I definitely believe it is my ability to pin another team deep inside their own 10 or 5 yard line. I regularly had done this last season while only having two touchbacks on the year.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am going to be kicking every two or three days, working on my craft while also presenting myself and making myself available showcases or events that I would be invited too.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring and consistent performer both in practice and in game and be a person that leads others by example. I don’t tolerate complaining or shorting on anything pertaining to football.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Basically just give me a chance to prove my worth in your organization and prove you right for giving me the chance to perform.
