Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
One goal I had was to stay healthy throughout the season. My position requires a lot of wear and tear on my body. I accomplished this goal by utilizing my training room and by stretching every day.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Coach’s/ players would say that I am the definition of a football player, hard working, dedicated, no excuses and reliable. I make sacrifices daily to get the right result.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I film study I focus on watching the consistency of my opponent and just seeing how well they move out on the field and in space. Seeing if the scheme of our offense will expose that person or not.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me is that I will out perform my opponent across from me 100% of the time. I will keep myself accountable in getting my job done.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is to focus on getting bigger stronger and faster the competition is only going to get better. With me transitioning in to becoming a professional athlete I will definitely put time into the weight room and i enjoy yoga, with me being such a huge guy it gives me the opportunity to learn my body and push my training to its limits.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths for me on the field will be confidence and consistency. Strengths off the field will be leadership and accountability.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am aware that this opportunity only comes around once in a life time with my faith in god, my family, and the team of professionals in my corner I feel as though i am ready for a legendary career in the NFL.
