Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I set for myself was to earn the starting spot on the offensive line after playing defensive line the year prior, to have 0 post snap penalties, and to earn a spot on the all Southern Atlantic Conference(SAC) team. I accomplished every goal I set for myself this season being a starter and earning 1st team honors and runner up for blocker of the year.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I am a fully committed player who will do anything I can to helping my team win games and holding others and myself accountable to the requirements that come with being a successful team.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
For myself I try to focus on any little tell I have in my stance, if I lean a certain way or if my pad level changes in my stance. For my opponent I look how they play run or pass. What is their go to move. What they do well and what they do bad to help me get an edge on my plan of attack.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My ability to be resilient. I will do whatever it takes. I will not sleep to stretch or to study my playbook or work on techniques if it gives me an edge over the next guy.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Keep becoming more flexible and more fluid in my movements.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field my physical strength will allow me to win those 4th and inches when it’s 1on1 situation. It comes down to who wants it more and who is going to give that Inch up and get their team to win the down. Off the field I do a good job at keeping my nose clean and establishing relationships and network through several people that can help bring positive things to my team.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
That whatever team takes a shot on me will be getting a player that will do anything I can possibly do to help make my team better. A player who puts the team first in every decision made and will make the players around me better to ensure my teams success.
