Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wouldn’t say so much goals stat wise I used this year to improve my game on the mental side. Yes improvement in the physical side is good but most of the game now at this level is mental I feel I grew as a football player and gained confidence because of having that IQ.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Team player I’ve never been the type of player to brag about stats and so on, I’m a playmaker that can make the plays for any team. But I find the most joy in helping teammates around me improve there game.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I’ve played for enough years in my life to understand offensive schemes and scenarios. Yes I watch film on teams during the week to breakdown certain players but honestly I like to watch film on myself and see what I can improve on and rewatch plays to see what I can do better.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
In my position I have the speed and agility you need for DB but what separates me is my strength and knowledge. Being able to control my my opponent across from me helps a lot, if that’s press man, block shedding, etc. On the knowledge side being able to anticipate what play or route combinations are coming helps a lot.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Keep doing what I do I’ve always been a hard worker I didn’t make it this far by sitting around. I will continue to grind and always have a chip on my shoulder.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Being a team player on and off the field building chemistry is a big part in having a good team you don’t want play for a coach/player you don’t like. Being able to play for someone you can trust and have the same goals as you only helps the team.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Come get a playmaker who’s going to provide on and off the field. During practice, games, and special events. I’m going to give it my all with no regret.
