Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

In my final season I had accomplished being in the top 10. This was one of my major goals coming into my final season. Another goal I had was to perform better than last year. I also graduated a month after the season ended, which was a major accomplishment.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I’m a leader and that I strive to be great. Wanting to better myself day in and day out.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film as a defensive player, I watch the offensive lineman. The offensive line gives away a lot just by the way they are positioned during that certain play. While watching film I like to each offensive lineman to see if they’re leaning in their stance or if they are on their heels. Outside of the offensive line, I watch how the back field gets set up withe the quarterback and running back.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think I’m different because I give maximum effort every play. I lead by example and my positive energy rubs off to my teammates. Strive to do better for myself and the team.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

What I have been doing to train this offseason is been in the gym and working with a trainer on my speed, lifting, and positional work. Researching all the different professional leagues in the world.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am able to carry myself as a leader on and off the field. Carry myself my fullest capability. Not distracted easily. I want to win in everything I do, in the classroom, at my job and on the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I want to set the standard. Once I set the standard,I plan to raise the bar even higher. My good is great, but perfection and success is the goal. Playing at the professional level is the stage where I can get that done and surpass expeditions.
