Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I accomplished playing in a new system then what I was previously used to. Having to actually learn the playbook really fast to get comfortable enough to perform at a high level was a goal I set for myself.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I’m the same guy day in and day out. Everyday I work hard and did the right things on and off the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
Watching other running backs to see how they feel defense in the run game as far as vision. Also identifying who is the best defender on the defense and how well do they tackle in space are they an ankle biter or someone who will tackle you high without wrapping up is all things I take mental note of.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I have a ton of experience and I played in three different systems in my college career. So my ability to learn and display it on the field is my separation.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Just to keep finding out more about myself from a physical and mental standpoint because there is always room for growth especially during this process.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’m a team first guy I will always do what’s in the team best interest to make us successful. Off the field I will use my abilities as a platform to give back and get involved with the community and youth to show that we are more than just athletes, we’re human beings just like them.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
Whichever team gives me an opportunity to be apart of their organization will not regret it because I’m going to work hard on the field and do the right things off the field while also doing the extra work behind the scenes consistently both on and off the field.
