Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Improving my conditioning to stay on the field longer and to attract the attention of NFL teams.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Physical, Tough, Smart.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I am currently training at Chip Smith performance in Norcross, GA.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I like to focus on the Offensive Line. I look at their footwork and see how physical they are in the run game and I also look at how they pass protect. Anything to get an edge over them.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I believe that I am a true Nose Guard. I take pride in stopping the run and taking up double teams. I don’t mind doing the dirty work. Being a shorter guy, I am able to gain leverage over most Offensive Linemen that I face.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths that I can bring to a team is my knowledge of the game. There’s always room for improvement, but I naturally get different blocking schemes that offenses throw at me. I’m also a hard worker and I’ll show up ready to work everyday.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I believe that the sky is the limit of me. I understand that I am coming from a small school and the odds are stacked against me, but I know that I have the ability and work ethic to make it to the next level. All I have to do is have faith.
