What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A few goals I set for this past season were to Be voted Team Captain, to finish the season with 6 plus touchdowns, and with a total of 800 yards or more.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I feel like I took great advantage on coming back for that one extra year. It gave me the opportunity to get more attention from scouts and different agencies. It also allowed me to prep myself mentally and physically for the next level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Starting with my Coaches; they will say that I am an do it the right way guy. I’ve always went the extra mile in the classroom, weight room to ensure that I excel at the top. My teammates will say I’m a big brother/role model; my teammates knew that they could always come and ask me for anything and I would always support them.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When given film on upcoming opponents, I like to breaks down the film by positions, I start with DL breaking down the fronts, what they do in certain down and distance, who is the most aggressive to who is not so aggressive. Then I go to LB’s, what blitz they run, who is the run stopper/who they play in converge more. Then I breakdown the Secondary, who is they best coverage guy, what are they weakness in certain formations, what coverage they run the most to what player personal they have. Being able to break down each positions on the field, helps me improve my game each week.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is my ability to learn fast, breakdown film, and uphold my accountability on and off the field.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

So, during this tenure. I’ve been pro-day training, gaining more flexibility, eating cleans to tone up more, making sure that I am able to preform at my best abilities to ensure the liking of the scouts and teams personal.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A couple of strengths and abilities I have that I will bring to a team is enthusiasm, Discipline, Respectfulness, Determination, Trustworthiness, Versatility, Dedication. I want to make sure that I don’t do anything to jeopardize the image of the organization.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I want to say I am worthy of the opportunity as it presents itself. I am a hard worker, fast learner, athletic and good character guy. I can bring key pieces to the organization, while coming from a small school, it makes me even more hungrier to respect the process and the grind. As good en the opportunity it will be a great decision and will not be disappointed.
