Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

“Finish.” When I was at Bethune-Cookman University, I got hurt during a game and had to undergo surgery, missing the remainder of my senior season there. That made me realize take nothing for granted. I wanted to show I could handle adversity and come back healthy.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

Hardworking, passionate type of person, ready to work every day and compete. Type of person that would give someone his shirt off his back.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I’m looking at everything. Starting with the offense’s favorite personnel. QB throwing hand (left/right) to his favorite receiver and what routs to expect, to the O-lineman high hat low hat, identify the puller and the most experienced up front, and what type of running back is in the game. I’m looking for any little give that would put me and my team in a better situation each snap.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My purpose! I Still have a story to be told. When you play with a purpose, no one can stop you.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Prepare how I’ve always prepared. Grind and head back down to Florida and work with Speedline training. I am also participating in the HBCU spirit bowl.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Coachable. You can tell me I can’t do something and I’m going to find a way to prove you wrong. My instinct to the football is kind of like a dog and his favorite toy, whether it’s down hill football or sideline to sideline, I’m trying to make a play. Off the field, I will be a role models for our youth, giving back to community so the youth can have something to do instead of finding trouble.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I’m willing to play any role a team needs. Giving my all every opportunity I get.
