Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

To be nominated ALL-BIG SKY again, to finish at least 75% on field goal, and to be the starting place kicker and kickoff guy.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Dedicated to uplifting my teammates, working hard to always be reliable, and always reaching for growth in my craft.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

First I focus on whether or not it was clean contact on the ball. Then I work backwards and focus in on my tempo, my foot position, my hips, and whether or not my steps are where they should be. Also, I dive in to the mental side of it figuring out what I was aiming for and what I was thinking about during that time I was on the field.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My mental toughness. No matter what happens every time I step on to that field it’s a brand new kick, the score and the time left on the clock doesn’t matter. What matters most is getting the ball off before the play clock reaches zero, within the operation time, and putting the ball through the uprights. Another thing that separates me from other prospects is the ability to never take full credit for the success the field goal unit has. I wouldn’t be able to do my job without my long snapper, my holder, the right and left guard, the right and left tackle, the right and left edge, and the right and left wings. So we take credit for success as a whole and I will always make sure they are recognized for their hard work.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

To stay on top of my explosive workouts and continuing to train those fast twitch muscles. I want to make sure that my leg is at game speed if I am given an opportunity. Also, making sure I stay healthy which means recovery is very important. Recovery includes yoga, stretching, rolling out, proper nutrition, seeing a chiropractor for adjustments, and quality sleep. Also, I journal as well to mentally prepare for those professional opportunity.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I have the ability and strength to bring confidence and longevity. Expressing that they can count on me on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

God gave me strength to persevere throughout my football journey. God gave me a partner like my wife to encourage me to turn my dreams into a reality. I love this game but to me it’s more than just playing football. If I’m given an opportunity to play for a team, I’m going to use what God has provided me to help underserved/underprivileged communities. I’m living off of a specific mantra that makes me one of the most dependable kickers.
