Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I accomplished my goal of reaching a bowl game for the first time in my collegiate career and it was really a team achievement that is one of the major reasons I returned to Rice for a fifth year.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My a coaches would say that I am a player that works hard and gives high effort all the time.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
My teammates would say I’m a guy that with a intensity and a violent play style. Overall, both would say I’m a ferocious predator on the field.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
When the studying film, I focus on the opposing players tendency with their hands because beating the hands is key to beating the man.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
What separates me from others in the draft is my combination of long arms, a high motor, and determination to win which allows me to break blocks and take down the ball carrier.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My offseason training plan has led me me through facilities in Florida, Texas, and Missouri that have helped me improve my acceleration and explosiveness.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I want NFL decision makers to know I’m about winning and having fun. I’m gonna be the best version of myself wherever I go.
