Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
One of the goals I had for awhile that I had the chance to accomplish this year was playing a full season and being competitive for the entire 13 week season.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
That I am a player that wants to win both on and off the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
First, I always check the depth chart then I watch the previous two games to see if there’s any injury or bumps that are necessarily not mentioned in the report. I then watch too coverages cut up to see and understand how they play their defense and their alignment. Finally, I watch for tendencies, big plays allowed, and how the DBs play man to man coverage.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I believe that I have a different way of seeing things and that translates in the way that I run my routes and the way I carry myself.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I think training like there’s no tomorrow would be the answer because this opportunity only comes once in a lifetime.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I think on the field I can bring play making abilities, team first mentality, and a competitor. Off the field, I think I can bring professionalisms and a model citizen for the youth and a community.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I’m a winner and a competitor and everyday that I walk into the facility is to better myself and help the team win.
