Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some goals I had set for myself were to be named a team captain, to be selected for all-conference honors, and to lead our team to our first winning season in my three years there. I was able to accomplish all of these goals and many more that presented themselves such as leading the team in total tackles made, helping cement a spot in the Victory Bowl, and coming out of that game as the defensive MVP.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I’m one of the hardest workers they’ve ever been around and that I’m always going to give relentless effort no matter the circumstances. They would also emphasize that I am a team player who is willing to do whatever it takes to make the team better and will always lead by example.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying my own film, I focus on every step I make and try to eliminate room for error by being intentional with every movement. When watching and scouting an opponent I focus on finding tendencies in the way they line up and practice any given technique in order to find ways to best defeat them.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The number one thing that separates me is my work ethic and coachability. I am always looking for new ways to improve my game and will put in the extra work to make that happen.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan on continuing my weight training and sprint work to gain even more strength and explosiveness. I am also searching for any combine opportunities to attend to showcase my abilities.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Some of the many strengths and abilities I can offer a team include my proactive intensity in doing what needs to be done regardless of the situation, my humble leader’s mentality of helping the entire team improve on their specific skill set, and to be able to connect and build trust throughout the team through being reliable to do any task I’m given.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

Being undersized for the linebacker position has created many obstacles for me to overcome, but in those times I have always found ways to use my speed and strength to my advantage. My study and knowledge of the game have also been significant factors in always being prepared to showcase my abilities on the field. If given the opportunity to play the game I love, I will not waste it.
