Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
I wanted to win a national championship and be named first team All-Conference.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Smart, versatile, crafty.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I am down in Florida at Bommarito Performance Systems working on my combine drills and doing football specific drills with a bunch of really talented guys.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I first look at what the opponents main front and coverage is, then I start to look at the Safety or LB that is guarding me and the DE or LB that I will be blocking and try to identify tendencies, techniques, and changes in alignment that give away blitzes or coverage adjustments.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I separate myself by my versatility. I can play Y, H, FB, split wide at WR, and I will block on special teams and cover kicks. I am willing and able to do anything I’m asked to do and have the mentality to work at it until I get it perfect.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am a good leader by example both on and off the field. I pride myself in my faith, work ethic, and character. I will find the hardest working guy on the team and follow them around to learn how to work harder than them.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I am determined to do whatever it takes to make it. Whatever my role needs to be on the team, I will embrace it and do it to the best of my ability every day.
