Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Some of the goals going into the season for me was to be the best me as possible. Lead our conference in PBUs and INTs. Be trusted by my coach to follow the best receiver on each team every week and be a better tackler.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Natural, Competitor, Disciplined.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I am still working with our strength coaches from Angelo State. Working out with one of my teammates Richard Franklin that has already been through the process before and also working with two of my other teammates training for our pro-day in Commerce.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I try to pay attention to route tendencies during different downs. Watching the difference in releases by a receiver when they go against press and over coverage.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My determination to do my job correctly consistently. Being a corner that can come up and tackle. Being able to understand our concept as a defense and understand what can hurt us.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
With me joining your program, you are getting a guy that is very determined. Playing special teams or playing in any other position that will help the team win.
