Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Set a goal for 10 touchdowns and 1,000 yards this season but I ended up with 7 touchdowns and 460 yards. I wanted to help Change the culture and lead the team to a winning season and conference championship and I did just that.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Hard worker, leader, High IQ, team player, accountable, playmaker.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Myself: how to make good plays better, fine tune details, watch film as if I was scouting myself. Other team: coverages, player tendencies, give aways, playing style, potential matchups, find their strengths and weaknesses, how does their playing style change throughout the course of the game.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Football IQ, hunger to learn, love special teams, experience playing multiple positions on offense, special teams and defense.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Working with strength and conditioning coach and speed and agility coach.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Outstanding character, mentoring/teaching background, growing up a coaching son has allowed me to adjust to new experiences faster than others. Doing community service is very important to me. I am a lead by example type of person but I am able to give good advice when needed.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If given the opportunity, I will find my role on the team and do it to the best of my ability. I will play strictly special teams if it came down to it.
