Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A goal I set for myself in my final year of college ball is continue to be amongst the top leading tacklers on the team. Along with that, I aimed to be the best player in my position group and the best teammate possible. I earned the respect of my peers, not only by my abilities and how I play the game, but by my work ethic and my entire process leading up to game days! I felt it wasn’t about me and my performance as much as how can I leave my mark here in such short time. I wanted to be an example for my teammates, so they can take the next step and challenge themselves to be the best version of themselves in the future.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches and teammates would say I’m one of a kind when it comes to my efforts on and off the field and my work ethic, devotion and passion for the game and everything that comes with it!

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying game film, I take notes and focus a lot on tendencies the offense has out of different formations or down and distances, alignment of WRs, and WR tendencies as well. I like to look at WRs and RBs speed, quickness, catching ability, etc. as well as QB arm strength, accuracy, and ability to extend plays in order to dissect the strengths and weaknesses of the offense I’ll be playing against. Furthermore, I’ll spend hours studying these notes. Picking up on these tendencies and trusting what I see and what I’ve studied have been very beneficial in my ability to play fast and without hesitation.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think one thing that separates me as a player is my high motor and nose for the ball. I love being around the football and will do anything in my power to make the play every down I’m on the field. I can play inside the box and/or in the back end to make plays on the ball in flight! I like to think I’m a versatile safety that can think a lot like a linebacker when it comes to coming downhill because of my desire to make tackles.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Currently working with my trainer to prepare for opportunities such as pro days and combines. In addition, eating right, sleeping plenty, and being very intentional with my recovery time.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths include me just flying to the ball and my ability to run to the ball without hesitation! I move fast and will do so all the way past the whistle! Also being very intentional with my nutrition, sleeping habits, and recovery/maintenance. It all matters to me and I pride myself on doing the little things right.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

To teams that are interested in me, you’ll be getting a guy that is very detail oriented and does the little things always. You will also get a guy that will go about the process, the game, the practices, and everything else that comes with it, with 100% effort and intention! I’m always willing to learn, grow, and be the best version of myself for the betterment of the team I am on! I love this game and I play because of that love and passion. All I need is an opportunity to show why I’m a diamond in the rough.
