Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Getting more technically sound in my foot work, and increasing my overall understanding of the game. I wanted to make sure I knew exactly how to attack a defender based on his alignment.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They will say that I am always ready to go. I don’t shy away from a challenge. He’s always where he needs to be doing what he needs to do, a dependable person and athlete.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I look for a little nuances in the defenders, when do they twist what hand does the defendant have down and what foot does he have in front? How good are they with their hands? I also see what other offensive lineman used against them that worked.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My versatility, I have played every position on the offensive line except center and performed very well and each position and I am comfortable at each position.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My plan is to stay healthy. Stay at a decent weight. And continue to have better hand placement, sharpening my skills and studying the game more. Keep working on my footwork, to be a great offensive lineman you have to have great feet.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The ability to be coached the ability to be told something and continue to work to work on it until it becomes second nature. Also, the ability to put myself second in the team first. If I’m on a practice squad or just special teams I will execute my part and play my role to the best of my ability with the biggest smile on my face.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If you are in need of an athlete is dependable, resilient, focused and committed who can put the program first and then second and will make sure they morph themselves to be the right cog for the machine. I’m your man.
