Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Two goals that I set before this past season were to become a team captain and win our conference. I was able to accomplish both goals this past season, as I was voted by my teammates as a captain, and we won our conference title.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would both recognize me as a player that is very coachable and a player that does his job for the team to succeed. Aside from doing my job, my coaches and teammates would state that I am able to make plays happen when my number is called.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on the little details. When looking at improving my game, I make sure to dive deep into coverage recognition, my footwork/drops, and any tells that I give away. Although I am constantly trying to improve on all these areas, I strive to get 1% better every day. This helps me to improve every day and allows my process to determine my future success.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I have the arm strength to make every throw on the field, whether I am in the pocket or on the run. My eyes remain downfield while scrambling, which allows me to utilize my quick decision making, arm strength, and accuracy to throw before deciding to take off and run.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am currently training at TC Boost in Northbrook, IL. At TC Boost I am in the combine prep program, which will help me succeed physically on the field and during testing at the Pro Days that I attend. The opportunities that I am attending include the Dream Bowl (January 19th-22nd), Northwestern University Pro Day (March 14th), and our conference Pro Day held at UW-Whitewater (early March, the same day as the UW-Madison Pro Day).

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My leadership ability is one of my strengths that is noticed everywhere in my life. I utilize my ability to teach and encourage my teammates to become 1% better every day, on and off the field. Our team will strive to become better in all aspects of our lives, and not just on the field. My teaching allows my teammates and myself to build great habits and for these habits to become contagious within our team and our organization.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am looking for any opportunity to continue and play the game I love at the next level. I am constantly adjusting my process, and this process allows me to stay on task and complete my goals. My strengths and abilities on and off the field will bring positivity and a spark to any organization that I am a part of.
