Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My overall goal of the season was to Win the CAA conference and the national championship with my teammates. I also wanted to not lose a single home game this year as well. I have always believed you should have team goals that are more important than any individual goal. Although these goals were obtainable, the only goal we were able to achieve was not losing a home game this season. As for my individual goals that I set for myself at the beginning of the season, I wanted to become a team captain, lead my team in rushing, and lastly become an all-conference player. I wanted to help my team’s offense any way I could and be a player that my coaches could trust with anything. I also wanted to be a good teammate that could lead a team and have his teammates respect. Luckily, I was blessed to be able to achieve all these goals and was named on the CAA All-Conference first team.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My teammates and coaches would say I am a selfless player who works hard and puts the team first no matter what. I do whatever is asked of me in order to make my team better and I strive to always stay positive through any situation.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I study film, I usually tend to see what I can do better during plays in order to correct any mistakes and prevent them from happening going forward. I also study upcoming opponents as well in order to see how their defense plays against runs, and to see what blitzes they usually run.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My offseason plan is to work on agility and muscular endurance to help improve my overall speed in order to stay in shape and be ready for all of the combine drills.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I would say what separates me from other prospects is how dynamic I can be in a backfield. Despite being considered a big running back, I have enough speed to get to the second level and can catch the ball from the backfield as well. I can also even be used as a fullback for blocking and pass protection as well.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I would say my positive and selfless attitude is what would stand out. On the field, I stay focused and will not be distracted. I will soak up as much information as I can and be ready to compete anywhere on the field. I will do whatever is asked of me on and off the field and to the best of my ability. I am mature and have a good work ethic and want to earn my opportunity at the next level either on special teams or any position that will help with the team’s success.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I take pride in being a team first player. If given an opportunity in the next level I will work as hard as I can to improve the team any way I can. I am hardworking and committed and want to learn as much as I can in order to become a better football player. I want to compete and find a way to get on the field and help win football games.
