Name: Ethan Beselt

Position: WR
Height: 5-9
Weight: 180
Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Goals to be a leader on my team and contribute on offence and on special teams wherever I am needed. Was awarded team MVP and all conference honourable mention after leading the conference in yards/game and top 5 in total yards, catches, and touchdowns in only 6 games played.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Someone who leads by example and plays for his team. A player who will not shy away in big moments and will want to be on the field at all times to help in anyway.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film, I watch for tendencies of the different players I will be matched up against so that I can have a plan of what I want to do against any opposing player in any situation I will be put in. For zone heavy teams, I will watch for weaknesses in their coverages so that we can expose these in the game. I’ll put myself in the shoes of other receivers who are playing against a team and pick out things I liked that they did or think of other ways I can succeed when they did not.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I believe that I can play anywhere as a receiver on the field whether that is inside or outside. What separates me the most from everyone else is my athletic ability to make contested catches and outrun DB’s. I am confident in my hands and I know that I have the advantage when the ball is thrown to me. I only started playing football in the 11th grade, so I am still learning and growing each day. I don’t believe that I am even close to hitting my ceiling and I plan to continue growing as a player.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will be training in the Vancouver area with strength and speed coach Kris Robertson.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring my athletic ability and understanding of the game to any team as a receiver and returner. Off the field, they will be getting a reliable person who will only work to better the organization. I will always put the team first and am always willing to learn and grow on and off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
They are getting a guy who is going to give you his all. I have always been an underdog in the world of football and that fuels me to work even harder and show people that I am not someone you want to pass up on.
