Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Prior to the season the goal was to win a conference championship as well as make the NCAA playoffs. We fell short of these goals and our record did not reflect the season we had as a team. We finished 4-6 while playing 4 nationally ranked teams throughout the year.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I would hope they would say that I am extremely hardworking and a selfless teammate. They would say I am a gritty player who just wants to win at all costs. I love competing and doing whatever it takes to win a game. My coaches would speak about how coachable I am. I love the game of football and take passion in my role on every team as a leader and captain.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

Each week I focus on my matchup and ways to help the offense flow. Some weeks in the slot and some weeks as an outside receiver. This season I prepared a lot for double coverage looks with safety help over top and watched film closely to see where I could find the openings on specific coverages shown. It was important for me to be able to read a defense Pre snap and adjust correctly. I looked to find my opponents’ tendencies to exploit any weaknesses shown.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe I have very high IQ as a football player and use that to my advantage as a smaller receiver. I am also very versatile. I am quick and shifty in the slot and capable of sitting in zones. I am also capable of running by people on the outside and beating man coverage looks with good route running.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plans are to train with a mentor of mine Timmy Breaker who played at University of Delaware while finishing earning my degree in business management. I plan on staying ready for any opportunity that presents itself.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring passion. I am very passionate for the game of football and very passionate for everything I do. I put 100% into anything with my name on it and will always invest myself fully into any opportunities. As division 3 football players, we don’t play for scholarships we play for the natural love of the game. I am willing to play wherever is needed on the field whether it is running down on kickoffs, or holding for field goals.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

All I need is a chance. I have proved people wrong my entire life about my size as a football player. My love for the game has taken me far and my desire to prove people wrong has taken me further. I strive best when people doubt me and perform best under pressure. I can guarantee if someone takes a chance on me it will pay off.
