Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Doing whatever it took to win conference and get back to the national championship and win.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Physical, versatile, fierce.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I’m training with Brad Arnett down at NX Level in Waukesha, WI.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I study different signs and blitz tendencies of the defense, their body language pre and post snap, and how their energy and style of play changes as the game goes on.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me is that I bring a lot of versatility being able to run hard between the tackles, get yards after contact, I can catch passes out of the backfield, I can throw and lead block, and understand what the defense is bringing and be able to adjust to that.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
One of my strengths is that I am a very hard working and coachable player. I’m willing to put everything I have into this in order to become the best player on and off the field. At Oshkosh, we took pride in that, becoming not just a better player, but a better man overall.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final pitch is that I bring a lot to the table in that I can throw the ball, run in or outside, lead block, and catch passes out of the backfield. I come from a small school with little exposure, but I use that to my advantage to work even harder and do whatever it takes to be the best I can.
