Position: SS/FS
Height: 5’11”

What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted To lead our team to a dominant season and that was done. I wanted our defense to be the best in the nation and we did that.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I feel the extra year just gave me time to correct everything about my play. It also just helped me grow as a player overall. It helped me because I was able to get extra film and show what I can do going on to the next level.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I am the X factor. I am an instinctive player who is always around the ball. I make the plays that needs to be made and I’m accountable.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on first and second down through the game first. I see what tendencies they have and what formations they like. I watch the 3rd down film all by itself because I break it into three sections. 3rd & short, medium, and long. Watching film just helps me to be in the right position and have an idea of what they’re going to run depending on the down and yardage.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I feel that I am a player that is versatile and can do anything asked of me. My motor doesn’t run out and my instincts is just something that most players won’t and can’t match. I can get the job done anywhere in the back end and I feel that separates me.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will train and make a food change for myself. I will focus on any weakness I feel I have had in the past and just be in the best shape I can be in. At the professional level I have to be ready at anytime so everything I do this offseason will be important.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am a player that can impact a game and a player that can be trusted to do what’s needed. I can play box safety or high safety and still be productive throughout the game. I feel that would be why I stand out on the field. Off the field I’m just a hard worker who will go the extra mile to be a better football player.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If you pick me up on your team you will get a smart, physical, and accountable player that will do what it needs to take to be a champion. Whoever gives me the chance they won’t regret it!
