Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

In my final collegiate season, I set out to accomplish becoming a better all around football player, as well as showcasing my talents while being a part of an outstanding conference. I was a contributor to a great team on and off the field, whether it was making plays or fostering healthy interactions with my teammates.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a leader. I am resilient. I show up everyday with a positive and never quit attitude. I display my leadership and communication skills often. I am very passionate, and a great listener. I am coachable and do what’s required of me with minimal to none direction.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

While studying film, the first thing I look for is the offensive game plan. I watch the formation percentage. I watch run calls in certain situations ranging from 4th & 1 to 1st & 10 for example. I observe how plays are being called in 2-minute situations. I observe how well the offense attacks after a turn over. I observe the Offensive Line/Receivers to find a run and/or pass tendency. I also look for a weak link that will help with my game. For example, if a receiver is counting their steps on certain routes you can recognize this through film study. I can also recognize if a tackle or guard has trouble distinguishing between a run or a pass.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects is my work ethic, passion for the sport, leadership skills, and instincts. I love building relationships within the team and encouraging others. I have the ability to adapt to change and grasp new concepts quickly. I’ve had five defensive back coaches throughout my career and never had an issue with adjusting to new techniques and different styles of coaching.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am currently training with Impact Sports Performance Group managed by Jim Kielbaso (owner). Who also happens to be the President of The International Youth Conditioning Association and Director of the Total Performance Training Center in Wixom, Michigan. Jim’s skilled and professional staff also assist with my training.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My greatest strengths would be my ability to communicate effectively, and foster excellent sportsmanship, and teamwork. I possess strong leadership skills. I am very responsible and trustworthy. I have a strong work ethic. I am physically and mentally tough. I believe my speed, agility, and endurance also stands out.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

As a child, I have always had a love for football and a desire to compete on a professional level. I have dedicated myself to understanding the game, and improving my skills as a football player. I believe in the depths of my soul that I have the talent and drive to succeed at the highest level. Playing professional football would not only be a personal accomplishment, but it will also allow me the opportunity to give back to the sport and communities that have given so much to me. I am very passionate about this game and would greatly appreciate anyone who is willing to take a chance on me.
