Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I believe I took good advantage of the extended time that was given before the season, due to the work ethic in the off season, in the film room, learning the new play book in a good amount of time and having a great spring and fall camp.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would tell you that I’m the player that is coachable. A player that doesn’t back down or give up on anything and tries to minimize his mistakes on the field. Not a troublemaker, the guy you would want to be around, a guy that’s not selfish and wants the best not for just himself but for the team and everyone involved. Well respected, also gives respect, playmaker and gets the job done. Teammates would tell you that I’m a hardworking teammate, the guy you would want to be around, a playmaker and a leader by example.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying over practice or game film I look to improve my understanding of the plays that’s being called, learning from what my lineman are doing, steps that are needed to be made if I’m running the ball, blocking or running a route. The way I study on film my opponents is by their flow to their assigned areas and ball, helps me see how aggressive they are so I can determine how to attack the defense rather it’s a slow or fast hit to develop the play.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects I believe is being a smart player when it comes down to the plays being called and doing the unexpected ; also being a consistent player, being a critic of myself and an all around running back.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

For my offseason I plan on going back to my hometown and set up a training schedule with my personal trainer Boris Jackson “Bo Jack” and his training platform Speed Plus Sports Inc. I’ve been with coach Bo Jack since the third grade and he’s been helping me elevate my game ever since helping me improve in spots that I’m weak or lacking in.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

What I would bring to the teams on the field is confidence, brotherhood, playmaker mentality, swagger and leader by example have to get the job done. Off the field camaraderie, being responsible, serving the community and not a troublemaker.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m ready to get to work and have fun while doing it, I am the player that you would want on your team willing to get the job done no matter what. This wouldn’t just be a dream that I’m chasing but a career that I’ve been good at since I was five. I believe you wouldn’t be disappointed with choosing me to be a part of your team.
