Name: Demetrius Frazier

Position: Wide Receiver/Return Specialist
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 190

Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Going into my final collegiate season, I set out to be a leader on and off the field, All-Conference player, and WIN a championship. Not only did I want to help my team improve offensively, but it was important to make an impact on special teams as well.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

If I could describe my style of play in 3 words it would be playmaker, explosive, and physical. At 5’10, 190 pounds, I’ve shown I can play against guys at any size. I have great speed, transition well in and out of routes, hands are extremely strong, and I will go up and make plays at all times. Also, I’m a playmaker on special teams. I’ve played cornerback as well, so it’s exciting for me when I’m on kickoff or punt getting the chance to knock another mans helmet off. Kick and punt return are also a huge part of my abilities.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

My training will consist of me focusing on not only pro day testing, but also improving my game at receiver. There’s always room for improvement on the field and also in film study. You can never stop getting better. The goal is to play at the next level, so it’s important to stay laser focused, grind, and stay away from all distractions.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When studying film, I focus on my opponents style of play, weaknesses, and strengths. A lot of defenses try to disguise their coverage pre snap by rolling last minute or even as small as a players stance. Those things are important. Also, studying each player knowing what there style of play is comes along with film study. Breaking down each player strengthens your game plan against them individually, resulting in them being uncomfortable and not being able to play their game, causing them to be beat.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

First and foremost, my work ethic and willingness speaks for itself. You will get 110% out of me at all times. I lead by my actions and also push my teammates to be the best as well. I’m a team first player and I will put it all on the line to help the team WIN. Also, I’m at my best even when dealing with adversity. There are going to be times where the team or myself isn’t playing well. Being mentally strong, having a great attitude when things aren’t going my/our way is what makes me a great player.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m an all around player. On the field, I can bring explosiveness and speed to not only an offense, but also on special teams. I’m a guy with great work ethic and a positive attitude. Off the field, I love to be involved in the community helping others. Attending the special olympics, visiting schools speaking to the youth are things I’m passionate about. Being an athlete you have a reputation in which you can impact others. It has always been important to me to go back and do things for others that can’t repay you. It’s not always about football. Simply visiting a shelter, or community center can create an inspiration in many people resulting in them not only wanting to be great in life but wanting to help others as well.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

All in all, you are getting a great player and an even better person. I love this game and that’s something that nobody can take away. I will give it my all and compete at the highest level at all times for my team. I can play multiple positions and I’m 100% sure I can come in and contribute right way away offensively and on special teams. I will not be a distraction on or off the field and I will represent your organization with great pride and respect.
