Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
To play the game at a faster level and to have a better season than I had the past two years.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Passionate, relentless, athletic.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will be training at Impact Sports Performance.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Based on the defensive game plan, I watch offense’s based on what we (the defense) may be running against that particular formation and/or personnel and just put myself in the position to make a play in that moment. I also try and read the Offensive Lineman and what they do based on what the offense is running.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
The number one thing that separates me from other players would definitely be my Why. My Why is the fuel to my fire and what allows me to continue to better myself. My on the field awareness, knowing what I may be getting based on my pre-snap keys. Also, I am my biggest critic, allowing me to evaluate myself truthfully and fix what I need to fix game by game.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I would bring more competition challenging myself and everyone around me to give it their all. I am big, but also very athletic. I love being in the communities and getting involved with kids and families.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My knowledge of the game is constantly getting better and I am growing physically and mentally as a football player every single day. I am not even where I am going to be yet and with this transitioning process, sky’s the limit.
