Name: DeAndre McNeal
School: Florida Atlantic
Position: WR
Height: 6’2″
Weight: 226
Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals that I wanted to make sure I did in final year as a college football player was to make sure my team, coaches knew how much of a team player I was. I wanted them to know that I was there to serve them.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Most definitely a hard worker, Competitor, funny, respectful, just wants to win.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film I try to figure out ever little detail my opponent does, what’s he like in Zone, Man, Can he run? Is he good at press bail? Or is he a press type of guy. I go so far back I want to know his parents name, his girlfriends name, siblings name. I want to know where’s he from. And it will be a plus if I knew what type of car he drives.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’m a big, fast, physical WR I’m a Monster. But I also feel like my mental is what’s different I’ve been through so much in my life that I deserve to be in the NFL. My metal toughness is just so different, that I believe I am the chosen one.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’m going to Train like no other here in Texas and Florida and develop myself into the best me possible.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Off the field I want to give back to the people who’ve helped me get to where I am in life. I want to help all the kids over the world to peruse themselves to be the best man/woman they can be. The reason why I say man/women and not athlete is because everyone is not going to a professional athlete and everyone is not going to be in the NFL but what they will grow into is young men and women, and I want to help them be the best. On the field I’m going to figure out my role on the team and do it to the day I die. I want to win Super Bowls, and eventually become one of the greatest.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
My final pitch is I deserve to be in the NFL, and any NFL team deserves me. If you pick me you will get my blood, sweat tears, and my hustler ambitions to win at everything.
