Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

For my final collegiate season I set the goals of becoming a PSAC Western Division Champion, PSAC Champion, Regional Champion, National Champion, First Team All Conference, All Region Honors, and All-American. I accomplished the majority of my goals I set for myself this season. I was a PSAC All Academic Team player, PSAC First Team All Conference player, First Team All Region, Nominated for the Gene Upshaw Award (best Lineman in D2) along with making the CSC All District Academic Team and was named 2nd Team CSC Academic All American. I also was a PSAC Western Division Champion and PSAC Champion. I also graduated this past semester with a Dual Masters degree in Sport Management and Human Resources & Labor Relations, while maintaining a 3.7 GPA.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would describe me as a leader, the type of person/ player who will lead by example on and off field. They will also describe me as being a player who is determined to be the very best each and every day. All of my teammates knew they could come to me for anything they needed and I would try my best to help them.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching game film I look for what habits my opponent has on certain down and distances. I look for specific stands and body language when they do different stunts. I also watch the location of LBs and Safeties on blitz plays so that I can know when it’s coming pre-snap. I also watch how the defense lines up against different formations to know which combinations or blocks need to be made.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What sets me apart at my position is my field IQ because it gives me an advantage over my opponent. I know what they are going to do pre-snaps and I am better prepared to engage and react. My physicality is something I take pride in because I want to wear on my opponent and make them tap out of the game. Every snap I want it to be as relentless as possible because my block could possibly lead to a touchdown every snap.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plans to train and prepare for professional opportunities is to continue working on my agility, strength, and speed to be able to perform at a high level at all times. I will continue to critique and improve my techniques in the run game and pass protection. My trainer who I have been working with since I was in high school, helps me stay ready for anything that I have planned for my future.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths and abilities that I will bring to a team is being a versatile player who can play anywhere on the online. I can play both guard and tackle. I can also revert back to playing center which I played all my years coming up. I will do whatever it takes to make the team and myself better so that we can be successful every week. I will make sure to watch as much film as possible to make sure I know my opponent like the back of my hand. Off the field I am a person who likes to interact with others and help them if needed. Positively interacting with the community is important to all organizations because it improves their image, and I am a guy who can definitely do that.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

To any team scouts I would like to say that I am a player who will bring great value to your organization. I have the ability to play multiple positions which sets me apart from others. I have a high football IQ which is something that helps me dominate my opponents. I will be determined and motivated to keep developing my skills each and everyday to be the best player that I can be for the team.
