What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I set a goal to win a conference championship, I didn’t get to accomplish that but another goal I had was to not give up any touchdown or deep balls, and I accomplished both of those goals this season.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I believe I increased it tremendously by showing that I can consistently cover in any coverage and also blitz off the edge and make plays along with being able to tackle in space great which I have put on tape for 4 1/2 years consecutively.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I am a very laid back player who lets my play do the talking on the field. And that I am always on time and never miss anything.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I try to focus on how my opponents line up in certain situations for different concepts and I also try to study on what down and distances what they go to the most so I can have a 60/40 advantage before the play even starts.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I believe what separates me from other prospects in this draft class is that I can cover man great, also can play zone and expand by playing Safety, Nickel, and Cornerback and that I also have good hips and great speed to go along with it.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am in Tampa bay Florida training at cooper sports performance and after pro day I plan to get back into the lab with a DB specialist and work on my game while I wait on a call from a team.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths I will bring to a team is being able to play wherever I am needed on the field from special teams all the way to any position in the secondary.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I just want to put out the great number that I know I can in-front of the scouts and raise some eyebrows, and to give me a shot that way I can prove why I deserve to be on their respective team!
