Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals were to give it all I got and leave my best football out on the football. I enjoyed all the games with my teammates and just had fun while trying to be the best player I could be. My goals were to be an All-American and all-conference.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I am a team first player and always give it my all every game.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on the small details, such as how smooth I get in and out of my breaks and also making sure I’m executing all of my techniques precisely. I also focus on what ways I could improve getting more plays on the ball.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I have the ability to play any position that will make my team better. I also have very good instincts along with great range and technique. I am a physical defensive back and have the ability to tackle. I also have great game speed, I am disruptive, and get my hands on receivers to knock off the timing of their routes.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will work on speed a lot so that I am able to run a great 40. I am also working on cleaning up my technique and staying low being that I am a big corner we have the stigma of not having good hips and I want to prove that statement wrong. I am always working on getting comfortable to play all the positions in the defensive backfield.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring toughness and dedication to the team on the field. I will also provide the team with someone that will bring it every time I step on the field and I will do my job every play. I also bring the ability to play all positions. Off the field I will be a great teammate who my teammates will be able to call on and be able to depend on.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
I just want a chance to show what I can do, I will always give it all I got. I will also provide the team with a tremendous talent who has instincts and I will make a lot of plays. I will also always lock down my opponent and always do my job. I will bring excitement and physicality to team, both on special teams and defense.
