Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted to be more efficient and be a top performer at my position Lead my team towards achieving a prolific season with the objective of paving the way for the next class. Lastly, securing an All-Conference finish, a top 15 ranking nationwide, and hosting our first home playoff game in 30 years.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
According to my coaches and teammates, I possess intrinsic leadership abilities, exude high levels of energy during gameplay, and demonstrate a deep reverence for the sport. I consistently perform well in pressure situations and educated younger players about the broader aspects of football beyond the events that occur on game day. Additionally, I have educated younger players about the nuances of football beyond just the competition itself. In essence, I believe that playing football is what I was born to do.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
To begin with, I will arrange early one-on-one meeting with the defensive coordinator to strategize and gather information about their past experiences against the opponent’s coordinators. I utilize those analytics to enhance my study approach and concentrate specifically on the offensive tendencies exhibited during third downs, formation patterns, and the body language of the opposing team’s players during run game versus play action situations. Additionally, I identify the weakest link among the opponent’s linemen and take note of any telltale signs. As the voice of the defense, I must be fully prepared to conduct pre-snap checks and communicate effectively with my teammates to ensure we are in a position to succeed.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
With an unwavering passion for the game, I am dedicated to consistently elevating my skills year after year, from perfecting even the smallest details to refining my first step. Through meticulous mental and physical preparation, I have been able to maintain my longevity as a player. Notably, I was able to showcase my versatility by playing on both offense and defense against our lone Division 1 opponent, a feat that is rare among most prospects. Moreover, my background as a former Division 1 running back has instilled in me keen instincts, which translates to increased speed and effectiveness on the defensive side of the field.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
In preparation for my pro day, I have been undergoing training at Velocity Sports Performance, a renowned facility utilize by several professional athletes during the off-season. The environment has been instrumental in honing my skills and enabling me to progress. Moreover, I have had the privilege of receiving guidance from esteemed players such as Steve Smith, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Germaine Pratt, and learning from their experiences on what to anticipate at the next level. I am constantly seeking opportunities to absorb knowledge and improve my game.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I exhibit accountability on the field while also providing mentorship off the field. My upbeat attitude and unwavering concentration would be aligned with any team’s overall objective.

To the NFL and other professional leagues, I humbly request an opportunity to showcase my abilities. As a “plug and play” type of athlete, I am always prepared to give my best effort whether on special teams or as a starter in my position.
